I am a Senior Accredited BACP counsellor and established my counselling practice in Brighton over 16 years ago.
Individual counselling is not only appropriate for major issues, such as bereavement, divorce or redundancy, but relief and understanding can be gained from talking to a counsellor about
personal difficulties and unexplained or uncomfortable feelings, which may seem not to have a specific cause, but can nevertheless result in:
- Panic attacks
- Tearfulness
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Lack of confidence
- Depression

Young Adults and Students
As they grow and mature many young people struggle to understand their feelings and emotions :
- at home
- in school, college or university
- with friends and peer groups
Counselling can provide an opportunity to discuss concerns you may have about a range of stresses such as identity issues, parents’ divorcing, making and breaking relationships, low self esteem or being away from home.
I have counselled students on behalf of Student Services at the University of Sussex and work closely with local special needs schools.
